Day 4_
I’m strangely good at….. organizing all of the things. I know it’s not a great surprise to those who know me, but if you don’t know me – I organize and plan a lot of things all at one time. I blame it on my mom, who was the queen of getting things done. She was a woman who worked part time, homeschooled, and served in our church. I too am attempting to follow in her footsteps and try all of the things, and do all the things. The one secret thing that I’ve learned about organizing is you don’t have to have your entire life organized. One day at a time works really great. So what are you good at? Let me know! Wanted me to add that I’m also strangely good at encouraging people. But that sounds a little braggie and I am not about to brag about myself. So it was his idea to say that I am also a good encourager.
Day 5_
I have mixed feelings about…cleaning up toys. Some days I feel the urge to pick them ALL up. Put them in color-coded bins and get rid of about 3/4 of the mess. Other days, like today, I’m asking myself: “What’s the point? They will all be out again in 2.1 seconds…”. So. The organization queen would like go do something about this….but has admitted defeat. *sigh* BUT – I’m so loving this challenge created by @laura.tremaine – super fun! Go to her feed and join in! It’s not too late.

I have a twin sister! laurensparks.net
I have to admit…I do NOT miss picking up the toys. Just saying (that ended years ago!) Fun fact: I’m a bit of a grammar snob. I cannot help it – but I am usually (secretly) correcting grammar somewhere along the way. (It is amazing how often grammar is incorrect even in signage, etc.!) Of course – its all in my head but, still, I suppose that isn’t’ very kind, is it?? 🙂
