Psalms to Help You Sleep: Psalm 12

Welcome to the Psalms to Help You Sleep podcast with Sarah Frazer and Jennifer Holmes. Regardless of how you feel, pull up a chair. Psalms is a book that gives us permission to feel, but also to hear. Listen to Jen’s words of encouragement from Psalm 12. And you can even share it with a friend!

Read Psalm 12 here.*

Now, Psalm 12, David assures himself of what he knows to be true, which is God is true to his word. Now, look at how he describes God’s words – pure and refined. That is in stark contrast to the words David was just lamenting. God’s words of defence and safety are so meaningful to David because he knows they can be trusted. He knows God will keep them. He knows where his safety is found.
