31 Days {Calling}
{Calling}
They call me mommy.
He calls me my love.
Others call me sister, daughter, and friend.
What does my Father call me?
When I think about a calling, I think about a job. A passion. Something to do. Not something I am. Yet, I am called. To be a mother, a wife, a friend, a sister, and a daughter. But I’m also called to DO, not just BE.
I’m called to write.
I’m called to teach.
My calling has little do with my ability….my calling has so much to do with my position.
My God calls me……
Daughter. Redeemed. Forgiven. Graced. Chosen. Beloved.
I can do all that He calls me to do because of all He calls me to be.
No matter my calling in life, it is always imperative I remember Who has called to me first. Out of the grave. Out of the darkness into the glorious light. I have been called. I have been Seen. I have been Forgiven. I have be Loved. I have been Chosen. I have been Redeemed. Because of who I am called to be, I can do all He has for me.
No matter my calling in life, it matters not what I do, but Who I am. And that will never change. My roles as mother, wife, friend, sister, and daughter will change. They will mold and move fluid like the ocean….but Who I Am called to be in Christ will never change.
