31 Days {Laugh}
{Laugh}
Do we laugh enough? We laugh to avoid embarrassment. We sometimes laugh to ease the tension. Do we laugh from a place of joy? A place of happiness?
I find my laughter comes easiest when I am living a certain type of way.
Calm. Rested. Peaceful. Simple. When my life is categorized by these things, laughter slips into the air more often. I’ve noticed my children laugh more than I do. Their lives are driven by passion and desire, but it seems their simpler life is categorized by joy and laughter.
I pray for a life of laughter. A life of simple peace. A peace that comes from trusting in my Father. Knowing He will provide all I need. Believing He will sustain me and give me strength. Understanding more and more the depths and height and width of His love for me.
I pray for a life of laughter. A life of rest and calm. A rest that begins with a choice. A choice to be with my Father first. Knowing time spent with Him will never be wasted. Believing He will meet me right where I am. Understanding more and more of his Word.
I pray for a life of laughter. A life of deep-seated joy. Not based on circumstances. But based in Truth. May I learn to laugh at all the joy He brings into my life.
My children.
My husband.
Provisions.
Direction.
A Light for the Path. May the Light lead me to a life filled with joyful laughter.
