It is hard.
It is a choice.
It is not easy.
It is beautiful.
It is messy.
It covers a lot.
It is Who God Is.
God is love. He loves us. He demonstrates unconditional love. But want to know what Love is? Look at Him.
Look at who He is:
Faithful. Just. Righteous. Beautiful. Forgiving. Merciful. Gracious.
Look at what He has done (is doing):
He forgives our sin. He rescues the hurting. He brings peace to those in anxiety. He is the author of Faithfulness. Forgiveness. And The Cross. Oh the cross. The ultimate picture of Love.
Sin was why Christ had to go to the cross. Love kept Him there. He will forgive. And keep forgiving. And He will alway show us what love looks like. Love.
It isn’t easy because we live in a sinful world. Full of pain. Heartache. Loss. Grief. But Love covers sin.
Love can erase the pain. Can heal the hurt. Can forgive the wrong. Can lift us above ourselves.
Loving people is easy for God…..but loving fearlessly starts with a choice. Sometimes daily. Sometimes hourly. Loving fearlessly means trusting that the Author of Love holds my heart, so I am free to love.
