31 Days {Perhaps}
{Perhaps}
Perhaps.
Perhaps I will do this tomorrow.
Perhaps I will do it my way.
Perhaps God will do it.
Perhaps. Maybe. Wondering and wishing. Nothing solid. Nothing definite. Living a life of perhaps leads to a house built on sand. On the edge of a river. A life of perhaps will be washed away with the first flood of the season. I don’t know…perhaps. So many unknowns with life and questions keep us awake at night.
Our life in Christ is not built on perhaps. Our life is built on TRUTH. Solid rocks of a foundation. A Rock for a Savior. A Strong Tower for a God. Living a life of faith with Christ is not a life of perhaps. We live in knowledge that the truth will keep us safe from the flood.
Our God holds tomorrow.
God’s way is always the best.
He will always provide whatever we need.
We need not ask our God, perhaps you will forgive us?
We need not wonder if our God sees tomorrow’s heartaches.
We need not wonder or live in perhaps…..we can trust our God. We can live in faith because our faith is not in vain. Our faith is built on a solid rock. Something substance. Strong. Unwavering.
Not a faith of “perhaps” God will save me at the end of my life. But a life filled with promises just waiting to come true. So many promises from scripture we will never have to wonder perhaps…..
I John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Deuteronomy 31:16 – Be strong and courageous; don’t be terrified or afraid of them. For it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not leave you or forsake you.”
Psalm 55:16 – But I call to God, and the Lord will save me.
May we live our lives on Promises not Perhaps.
