31 Days {Ready}
{Ready}
I’m ready to move forward. Ready to go. But He says: Wait.
Ready for the new adventure around the corner. Ready for some light in our life. But He says: Wait.
I really like to know all the steps that I need to take for something. I like seeing the path. knowing the destination. But life isn’t like that. Life doesn’t give us all the steps. Even if we try to guess and try to figure it all it, the path takes a sudden twist we never thought was coming. We feel so stuck.
We are ready to be done with the lesson He is teaching us. Patience never comes. Love seems illusive. Can’t we just be ready and move on? But He says: Wait.
In our waiting, although we are ready and willing to move forward, we are not ready. He knows this. Our Heavenly Father knows we need this season of waiting. We may want to harvest the crops, but it is still growing time. It is still time to just wait and watch the tiny shoots peek under the dirt. Our fruit and success in life is not because we are not ready for it: it is because He is not ready for it.
The Father, who is also the Farmer, knows how long we must stay in the dark and learn our lesson. He knows how long we must stay in the fog and wait for His presence. For no matter the path, no matter the darkest path, He is not ready for us to move on….and that’s ok. We can wait. We can wait because our Father sees us. Our Father knows us. Our Father created us. Our Father is with us. We can praise Him. Even in the waiting, we can praise Him.
Just wait.
