How are you spending your summer this year? Living in the tropics, with very little change in temperature and weather, it is hard to physically see the changes of seasons. I feel it though. My children and I are finishing up our homeschooling year this week. We all have summer fever. The days will be filled with a special kind of slowness. Some of them will sleep in while a few will continue to wake up early. Breakfast won’t be rushed and the mornings will let me once again drink my coffee hot! I love slower days at home with no agenda. 

One thing I don’t want to slow down on is my Bible reading. I have a couple of different things I’ll be reading this summer and studying, but can I encourage you to try a Summer in the Psalms? What if you spent all of July and into August just reading the wonderful book of psalms?! I wrote five reasons why you should study the psalms here.
